Job Summary
Kforce's client, a leading global media giant, seeks a Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with SEC reporting requirements. Must Have
- Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of Big 4 and/or private industry experience
- Experience preparing footnote disclosures and accounting memos
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A
- Assisting in ensuring regulatory compliance with SEC reporting requirements
- Assist in the valuation and expense recognition of equity-based compensation, pension and other post retirement benefits
- Preparation of goodwill and identifiable intangible annual impairment testing
- Assist with the assessment of new SEC/GAAP pronouncements

Kforce's client, a leading global media giant, seeks a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for assisting in ensuring regulatory compliance with SEC reporting requirements. - Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A to ensure timely and accurate filings and testing of internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Assist in the valuation and expense recognition of equity-based compensation, pension and other post retirement benefits, preparation of goodwill and identifiable intangible annual impairment testing
- Assist with the assessment of new SEC/GAAP pronouncements
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 2+ years of Big 4 and/or private industry experience
- SEC reporting experience preferred
- Experience preparing footnote disclosures and accounting memos
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
